The LSESU Poker Society aims to bring together all the students of our university who are passionate about poker and intend to develop a tight-knit community of players throughout the year. We welcome players of all levels: whether you have been playing for a long time or still learning the rules!
By joining us this year you are ensuring that poker is going to become a part of your life at LSE as well as meeting a lot of like-minded people who are as interested in this game as you are!
Purchasing our society’s membership will give you access to weekly poker games held on, and occasionally, off campus. It includes structured tournaments, regular cash games and collaborations with other LSESU societies and access to our social events.
It will also give you an opportunity to attend poker-related guest lectures from professional speakers, as well as educational sessions for those who have just started playing or wish to improve their skills. The membership fees will go towards our weekly Dominos order and all of the necessary equipment for us to hold our events!
Over the year we will host a variety of different events such as:
A Give it a Go session will be hosted in the first week of Autumn term (04/10/24). More information will be posted in the WhatsApp group chat posted below.
We will also be at the Freshers Fair to answer any questions you may have, so please look out for us.
You can join our Whatsapp group here for more details regarding the games: https://chat.whatsapp.com/JNKaoibL0RIFMG3tGu29oz
If you feel that it is easier for you to do it through email, you can send us one at pokersoc@lsesu.org
