About us
At Tea Society of LSESU, we aim to create a welcoming environment for everyone who wishes to enjoy a cup of tea in a non-academic environment. Whether you are a person who cannot live without tea in your life or you have no clue about the difference between Earl Grey and Jasmine, we have the right event for you! Ranging from tea breaks, tea tasting challenges, group afternoon tea outings, DIY bubble tea workshops...etc. We’re sure there would be your cup of tea here at Tea Soc!
We also aim to bring top discounts around London’s best tea and bubble tea stores for our society members. We regularly organise outing on afternoon tea with the best deals, so if you are someone who wants to enjoy a relaxing afternoon where you can meet and chat with other students who also enjoy tea, Tea Soc is the right place to come! Other than outings, we also aim to organise tea tasting session (where possible starting from Lent term), where members will be able to come together to taste all kinds of teas with a light snack.

Membership
By purchasing a Tea Society membership, you will be able to enjoy free tea drinking/tasting events that are hosted on campus. Also, you would be able to get discounted rates on certain outing tickets for afternoon teas and discounted rates at great tea shops around London! You will be able to join a large family and meet many friendly individuals.
Your membership fee will go towards the organisational costs for outings and treats throughout the year. Come and join us if you are interested!!

Throughout the whole academic year, we host a variety of different events:
- Regular tea drinking social events
- Afternoon tea outings
- Tea tasting session and bubble tea tasting
- Drinking around the world events which is hosted in collaboration with many other societies and you will be able to taste drinks from all around the world (as the name says :))
- And lots more!!
