The European Law Students' Association (ELSA) is the world's largest organisation of law students, and provides students across 43 countries with unique opportunities for international exposure to law and networking including the STEP traineeship programme, Delegations at intergovernmental organisations and Legal Research experience through initiatives ELSA organises in collaboration with international law firms and organisations.
ELSA LSE has been a local chapter of ELSA International for four years running. This year, ELSA LSE aims to boost LSE students engagement with ELSA International events, focusing on the four main areas: Moot Court Competitions, Academic Activities, Seminars and Conferences, and STEP traineeships. We also aim to set the agenda for an ELSA LSE flagship event.
Memberships include: receiving weekly newsletter updating on the latest ELSA International and ELSA LSE events and projects, application tips for ELSA International activities (STEP traineeship, ELSA Delegations, ELSA Summer Schools), recent developments in EU law (initially focus on competition, Brexit, human rights, and IT).
Membership goes towards operating expenses of the society and mainly towards subsidising LSE representatives to ELSA International and ELSA UK activities.
The committee is really excited to welcome new members to our Virtual Welcome Booth on 24-25 September 2020, from 9 am to 5 pm! Register here https://lse.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJcqceuupz8pGNDnWmeqkg3IqccWKYwNyDeQ.
