The LSE Afghan Society aims to bring together Afghans and non-Afghans alike to share in important discussions surrounding Afghanistan's cultures, history, and recent events.

We aim to bring light to the rich and diverse heritage of the region through a number of informal and academic events, whilst also engaging in relevant and informed discourse. In recognition of the worsening humanitarian condition, we aim to participate in fundraising schemes, for example the upcoming Afghan Charity Week, and in the process foster relations with other Afghan Societies and individuals.
