LSESU Welcome Week Freshers Fair 2023

Dominican

The Dominican Society at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Connecting the Dominican diaspora with those interested in Dominican culture and society.

The LSESU Dominican Society is a community bringing together the Dominican diaspora of the LSE with those interested in the Dominican culture and society. We hope to formulate bonds, networks, and close communities. The Dominican Society aims to further cultural exchange with the broader LSE community. We hope this society brings our larger LSE community together through Dominican culture and society. We want to connect through dance, music, food, dialogue, and Dominican culture. We want this society to be an expression of our roots and share those roots with others interested in or curious about it. We also aim to provide a space for representation and philanthropy. We want all to feel and be seen. We understand the strength of our culture is our diversity. We want to be able to be a space where that diversity is embraced and through our diversity, we can better advocate for ourselves and form allyships with other BME students on campus. We pride ourselves in our cultural diversity, but also in other forms of diversity of our members. We want this space to be uplifting and representative of our intersectionality.
