LSESU Welcome Week Freshers Fair 2023

AhlulBayt Islamic

The AhlulBayt Society (ABSoc) offers an environment for Muslims to settle into university life and be a part of a community where they can embrace their faith and identity.

The Ahlulbayt Society (ABSoc) offers an environment for Muslims to settle into university life and be a part of a community where they can embrace their faith and identity. ‘Ahlulbayt’ refers to the household of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and we aim to adhere to the teachings of the Quran alongside the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his family.

We aim to host a wide range of events which will include educational, social, charitable, inter-faith and religious events with renowned speakers to foster a community which strives to learn more and get closer to the Ahlulbayt (AS).

Our vision is to develop unity amongst Muslims and people from all other faiths and backgrounds in order to spread the understanding, knowledge, and peaceful humanitarian message of Islam through the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (AS).

We seek to create a platform at the LSE to encourage dialogue and spirituality by holding seminars, discussion circles and larger-scale, inter-ABSOC collaboration events to meet other like-minded individuals from surrounding universities.
