Welcome to the Mediterranean Society!
As the Mediterranean became one of the richest and most important regions in modern history, the cradle of civilization, it attracted several of the greatest civilizations known to man. This region has seen the Egyptians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Persians, Arabs, Ottomans, British, and even once Vikings, roam over its vast territory. This rich history has shaped the Mediterranean we know today, through its cuisine, language, culture, traditions, and architecture.
We explore the rich tapestry of the region's history, culture, politics, and more. We also cover the impact of various religions, including Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, which have coexisted and evolved here.
Join us to discuss historical events, contemporary issues, and cultural experiences in a welcoming community for all students.
