LSESU Welcome Week Freshers Fair 2023

Early Grind

Struggle to wake up early and stay productive? Join the Early Grind Society that makes it easy.

The Early Grind Society brings people together to kickstart their day with energy and purpose. We host group workouts, scenic walks, yoga, and mindfulness sessions—all in the early morning. Afterward, we gather for coffee, good conversation, and real connections. It’s more than a routine. It’s a community.

Our aims are:

  1. Prioritise your health. Develop a strong routine with regular physical activities that support both body and mind.
  2. Stay motivated together. Surround yourself with like-minded people who encourage and inspire you to reach your goals.
  3. Start your day right. Begin each morning with energy and purpose, setting the tone for a more productive day.

To achieve this, we organise early morning activities to help members start their day with energy and focus. Our regular events include:

Sprint into the day. Group runs at various paces for all fitness levels.
Stroll and soak it in. Scenic walks to enjoy fresh air and nature.
Sweat together. Group workouts featuring strength training, HIIT, yoga, and stretching.
Set your mind right. Guided mindfulness sessions for a positive start.
Sip and connect. Post-activity coffee meetups to build friendships and networks.
