The LSESU Colombian Society aims to create a network of people interested in Colombian culture. Our purpose is to share the Colombian values and to discuss topics currently relevant to the country.
The Colombian community at The London School of Economics is composed by around 40 students. The LSESU Colombian Society was established in 1999. Year by year, it seeks to promote Colombian development through the debate of key issues of the country, it's culture and strenghtening the ties between our country and the United Kingdom.
We invite you to join this vibrant Society where you will find a place to make new friends, know the Colombian community at LSE and London, engage in important debates for the future of Colombia and Latin America, and be part of the cheerfulness that characterize Colombian Society.
We welcome not only Colombian students, also students from all nationalities that want to know more about the country and the region.
As member of the Colombian Society you will be able to run for one of the staff positions that lead the society. Moreover, you will have priority access to networking and academic events with limited capacity, and you will enjoy discounts on the events arranged by the society that require a fee.
