The LSESU History Society is a very active and enthusiastic society at LSE. We are one of the friendliest groups on campus and welcome all students, whether you’re studying history or not! If you enjoy visiting famous historical cities, debating historical issues or just want to spend your time with a fun, social group of people – we’re the society for you.
The society is much more than a platform to discuss history. Our infamous social events mean that you will become part of a community that will stay with you throughout your time at LSE. We’ll also be collaborating with other societies on campus to pull off some unforgettable social events. We are so lucky to be studying in a city that has a wealth of history. So, expect incredible speakers and of course our favourite – pub quiz nights!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the family!
Purchasing a membership will provide you with access to all of our events throughout the year. This includes access to all of our high profile events, socials and networking sessions. The membership fee goes towards running these events and ensuring that they are delivered to the highest quality that is possible.
Over the course of the year, we host a wide number of events including:
The committee is really excited to welcome new members to the society so we have created a dedicated Whatsapp group for new members to join and ask questions. Buy the free Give it A Go Mailing list to be added to the WhatsApp group, or message @lsesuhistory on Instagram with a confirmation of your LSE ID card to be added. We will update all new members on upcoming events, meetings and Give it a Go sessions closer to the time.
Who is going to lead your Students' Union next year? Thousands of LSE students will be casting their ballot for who will represent the voice of LSE students in 2025.
