Literature

Welcome! The Literature Society is the place for literature lovers of all sorts, whether you be a bookworm and bibliophile of the highest order, or simply a casual enjoyer of good books. Our aim is to foster a tight-knit community based on a shared passion and to provide a space in which our members can discuss and engage with a range of literature. As we see it, our responsibility lies in spreading a love of literature across campus, and providing a space for people to share and bond over cherished books and stories. 

Society life is centred around our monthly Book Club in which we discuss various novels, short stories and poems. We also organize different literature-themed social activities roughly every 2 weeks, with trips to cool bookshops, the theatre and other literature-related destinations! Our area of London is one with a rich literary history — we try to make the most of it.

We welcome students from all backgrounds, regardless of whether you have studied literature in any formal sense, and promise to make you feel right at home.
