The LSESU Photography Society is revived! We exist to bring together creatives and photographers at the LSE. We hope to create a socially and creatively engaging environment, which functions at many levels.
This is what we have planned for the year ahead:
Organized on a monthly basis, our photo walks provide members an opportunity to meet and develop better photography techniques and skills. Anticipate a new, exciting location, and theme/topic for each walk. These events are open to all members of all levels and abilities.
Ranging from workshops on composition to post-processing, or even film photography, we aim to provide workshops that will help members of different levels of experience improve their photography skills and learn something new.
Learn about new trends and artists with speaker events inviting photographers and curators.
Head to galleries across London with fellow students excited about photography and art.
Meet new people while chatting about all things photography at our coffee mornings or pub socials.
For a membership fee of £1.50, you will gain so much more than what you paid for. We welcome students from all levels and backgrounds in photography. You do not need to own a camera. As long as you have something to take a photo with (a phone will do) and an interest in the art of capturing light, you are more than welcome!
We would love to hear from you! Send us an email at photography@lsesu.com or a DM on Instagram @lsesu_photosoc.
Who is going to lead your Students' Union next year? Thousands of LSE students will be casting their ballot for who will represent the voice of LSE students in 2025.
