A bridge between AOI as an academic study and its manifestation in the market; providing a platform to exchange ideas on how to take accounting into a different domain of social sciences perspective.
This society is currently dormant. If you would like to restart the society, please see the process on this page.
The Accounting, Organisations and Institutions (AOI) Society aims to provide a platform for prospective, current and former AOI students, as well as any other interested students, to exchange ideas on how to take accounting into a different domain of social sciences perspective. The AOI Society hopes to achieve this by three main ways - guest speakers, social events and academic support.
Through guest panels and talks, the society aims to provide a platform for members to interact with people in academia and business and deepen their knowledge of AOI, whilst bridging the link between AOI as a subject and its manifestation in the real world.
AOI Society will also be hosting social events to allow members to get to know each other better, enhance teamwork and build on their relationships.
The Society will also act as a point of contact to address any concerns or needs that AOI students may have in terms of academic support.
