LSESU Welcome Week Freshers Fair 2023

Women in Law

A society dedicated to the empowering of women in the legal sector through talks, debates and networking opportunities.

The Women in Law Society focuses on empowering women within the legal sector.

In this society we hope to highlight the history of women in law, pinpoint women-specific issues in the workplace and hold insightful debates on the future of women in law.

By inviting guest speakers and hosting panel talks, this society will offer its members an opportunity to interact directly with women who are involved with or have directly faced challenges in the legal sector.

Members will be able to address questions involving the development of women empowerment in law and get a glimpse of how women in the legal sector interact with their environment.

The Women in Law Society will additionally host social events to allow for members to engage with each other and get to know each other better.
