The London School of Economics Cycling Club empowers students of all cycling abilities to become part of a team, allowing them to train, compete and socialise with their peers. The club offers weekly cycling sessions, including outdoor and indoor training, week-end club runs, track cycling and racing opportunities.
The LSE Cycling Club is a mixed gender club which prides itself in being very inclusive and open, setting equally high expectations on its women as it does on its men. The club has successfully developed two strong cycling teams; a LSE CC Women’s Racing Team, captained by ‘LSE Inspirational Sports Women’ nominee Marlene Strasser, and the LSE CC Men’s Racing Team. Both teams have achieved several top 10 finishes in races last season.
The club also organises regular socials and events, ranging from non cycling related socials to mid-term and summer trips abroad.
