A fully inclusive club, we welcome anyone who wants come down and join us on the water! Wakeboarding pro or complete newbie, fresh-faced fresher or wise postgrad - we’ll always have a spot for you on the crew!
We wakeboard every Wednesday at the scenic WakeUp Docklands, an easy breezy 25 minute trip from campus.
With dedicated lines for both beginners and experts, we make sure that everyone gets time on the water. Joining us means you’ll get free access to one-on-one support with our lovely expert instructors at WakeUp Docklands when you ride with us - so even if you’ve never set foot on a board, you’ll see massive improvement week on week!
The cherry on top? We always wrap up with a well-deserved cold one by the water.
It’s not all about sports; we’re a super social bunch (who take post-wake pints to be a SERIOUS generational tradition). With us you’ll be fully immersed in LSE’s social scene, with outings including club dinners, epic pub crawls, quiz nights, the infamous Carol and our weekly Sway Wednesdays with the rest of the AU coming your way!

We all know that there’s nothing more exciting than flying over the water on your wakeboard, wind in your hair and sun on your skin - but at an average of £65 a session (lets not forget equipment costs!) sometimes it feels like there’s nothing more expensive either.
But not anymore! LSESU Wakeboarding society has got your back.
For just a £50 membership fee, we’ll subsidise your wakeboarding and slash your session costs from £65/session to just £10!
That’s an 85% saving!
What you’ll get each session:
- INSANELY subsidised access to London’s ONLY inner city wakeboarding centre
- One-on-one time with WakeUp Docklands’ expert instructors during your session
- Hefty equipment costs 100% covered (so no need to invest in expensive equipment that you’ll have to drag on the tube)
- The opportunity to spend time with all our gorgeous gorgeous faces on the docks :)

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
Don’t fancy braving the waters of Costa-del-Docklands? Grab a social membership for a tenner and come hang out with us dry on the shore (plenty of wipeout induced laughs guaranteed)!
