Call Him Pitbull the Way He's Mr Worldwide
Heyya! I’m Aditya, a Politics and International Relations student. Having lived in Dubai, various cities in India, and now London, I understand the struggle of feeling “foreign” — here’s how I wish to help you in your journey:
Expediting Exam Timetable Communication
Not only do we pay 3x more than home students, but we also face extra travel expenditures because of ineffective communication. The time-gap between an ideal time to book flights and receiving our schedule, causes flight tickets to jump from approx. £650 to £900, round trip.
I strongly believe that students deserve a general time-frame (~1 week) during which we can expect that exam to be held, potentially saving us ~£500.
Second Year Housing Resources
We are naturally disadvantaged when we step foot into the housing market in an attempt to find cheap accommodations. We deserve resources, ideas on what to (not) expect, and perhaps, quotas in LSE accommodations for 2nd year.
Work Opportunities
I aim to increase opportunities provided by LSE departments, ResLife etc. making them more accessible to international students by removing 'nationality' as a limiting factor.
(Inter-)Cultural Events
An ambitious and proactive attempt to celebrate diversity and educate ourselves about the cultures that create our vibrant society.
