Support at LSESU

You may find that your Sabbatical Officers will be able to best represent your support needs.

Support at LSE

LSE has a large proportion of postgraduate students, as well as undergraduates older than at many other universities. A mature student is normally anyone aged over 21 at the start of their degree programme.

More information from the LSE is available here.

There are a number of LSE accommodation options for mature students, including couples and families. Services such as LSE LIFE and LSE Careers can be tailored to your individual needs. Although the LSE Nursery is closed, the School partnered with three local Nurseries to provide services for students and staff.

External Support

UK students can find information on funding opportunities via this governmental website.

You can also get help with funding childcare while you study. UCAS has also prepared a list of useful resources, and you can find a helpful guide to Mature Student university experience via the link.
