Whether you’re facing unexpected expenses, struggling with housing costs, or need help with essential academic supplies, we offer confidential support to help you navigate these challenges.

This service is designed to ensure that financial difficulties do not hinder your university experience. Our team is dedicated to providing the resources and guidance necessary to help you focus on your studies and well-being.

Gender Expression Fund We have created the Gender Expression Fund to alleviate financial strains for trans, non-binary, intersex, and any gender non-conforming students to break down some of the barriers they face in their daily lives. While the fund cannot assist with medical or legal costs, we hope this financial assistance can contribute to students’ wellbeing and make resources for gender expression more accessible.

Campaigns Hub The LSE Students' Union Campaigns Hub exists to support student campaigners at LSE. We can help you lead your own campaign or you can attend sessions to build up your skills to help others, as well as be the first to hear about new campaigns on campus.
The Sustainable Projects Fund The Sustainable Projects Fund is an annual £20,000 fund managed by the Sustainable Futures Society. It is supported by a tax on all single use plastic bottles sold on campus.
Hardship Fund The Hardship Fund is a means tested fund designed to help students who have fallen into short-term, unforeseen hardship to continue with their studies and complete their degree. The fund is managed and monitored by our Advice Service, independent from LSE.
Graduation Support Fund Graduation is one of the most joyful times of the year, if you're not in financial hardship. For those who are, our funds could help by waiving the full gown hire fee and/or cost of graduation photographs. The Graduation Support Funds are managed and monitored by our Advice Service, independent from LSE.
Childcare Fund The Childcare Fund is a means tested fund designed to help students with childcare costs who have fallen into short-term, unforeseen hardship. The fund is managed and monitored by our Advice Service, independent from LSE.
