Professional teams support elected student leaders to make change, improve lives and fulfill potential; we help make it happen. Founded in 1897, LSE Students' Union is one of the oldest Students' Unions in the UK and is the representative and campaigning body for students at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Like other Students' Unions, it also funds and facilitates student activities on campus, including 200+ societies, 40+ sports clubs through the Athletics Union (AU), the Media Group and Raising and Giving (RAG) charitable fundraising initiatives.

 
About the job

This role will produce social media content and materials to support marketing and communication across LSE Students' Union. Aligned this, will coordinate social media outputs across the marketing and communication teams's strategic and operational key performance indicators and planning.  In addition, to high quality stakeholder engagement with a diverse of campus of students by promoting the LSE Students' Unions voice through creative and innovative, professional, and inclusive content.

This role sits within the Marketing and Communication Team so you will be working across the team to deliver the key objectives.

Who are we looking for?

Can you demonstrate the ability to think both creatively and analytically?

The role will be responsible for producing and publishing image and video content, writing, editing, and proofreading, supporting content strategies, and growing our key metrics, engagement, following and traffic.

You will need to be comfortable and confident in finding creative ways of building an online presence, through all forms of social media, website content and email marketing strategies.

Applicants should also be positive, committed and approachable, with the ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and a desire to work in an organisation that services a culturally diverse membership.
