What is the Academic Board?
Academic Board is the highest level committee within LSE’s academic governance. It is responsible for monitoring and upholding the academic standards of the School and for regulating teaching. All academics are members as are the General Secretary and Education Officer. Additionaly, two students are elected by their peers to become student members of Academic Board. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend LSESU committee training

Attend and contribute to Academic Board meetings (on zoom, dates TBC)

Read the papers in advance of the meetings

Engage with the support provided by LSESU e.g. written briefings, prep meetings

Communicate any developments from Academic Board meetings to LSESU
